When your opponent is attacking, if you have "Book of Moon" Set on the field, you can activate it to flip the attacking monster face-down, thus stopping the attack. You can also use it during your turn, targeting an opponent's monster that has a high ATK, but a low DEF. This way you can attack the monster when it is in Defense Position and be able to destroy it. Turning one of your own Flip Effect Monsters face-down with "Book of Moon" is another good use of the card.
